Working at Heights Refresher Training

  • Our Working At Heights program and certification provide workers with the knowledge required for the safe use and operation of equipment for working at heights. Students will learn to recognize fall hazards and apply the proper safety measures.

    The key objective of the course is to teach operators how to increase the efficient use of elevating work platforms and reduce their risk of injury and damage to equipment, products, and buildings.

    Course Details:

    • Required after 3 years.

    • Prerequisite: Working At Heights Certificate/Refresher Certificate.

    • 1/2 Day (4 Hour) In class delivery.

  • This training includes both a theory and practical component. The theory component covers the following:

    • Legal responsibilities

    • Identification of hazards and controls

    • Fall Prevention

    • Ladder Safety

    • Guard Rails

    • Travel Restraints

    The practical component consists of the following:

    • Personal Fall Protection Equipment

    • Barriers and bump lines

    • Anchor systems and platforms

    • Rescue Planning

  • This course is for any person who has previously been certified in the Working at Heights Certification Course and requires the refresher after 3 years.
